The built in stations get old

This radio from RCore lets a player paste a YouTube link or a direct audio URL, such as an mp3 or OGG, and play it for everyone in and around the vehicle.

The sound reacts to the car

• Distance. Volume drops as you move away.
• Doors. Closed doors muffle the sound. Hear distance is set separately for doors open and doors closed.
• Vehicle size. A custom hearable distance can be set per model. For example, pbus2 defaults to 100 meters.
• Interiors. Chosen interior IDs and models can be set to ignore the audio effects.

The playlist stays with the car

Songs can be saved to a specific vehicle, per player, so they are there the next time the driver gets in. A default playlist can be preloaded per vehicle in the config, and the playback time can be scrubbed.

Two looks

Every vehicle uses one of two radio designs, chosen per model in the config.

A job for mechanics

A simple marker in the world creates a workshop point that installs or configures the radio. Lock it to a mechanic job or leave it open.

Restrictions

• Use the radio as an item or as a command, opened by command or hotkey
• Blacklist specific tracks
• Blacklist specific vehicle models
• Disable whole categories, such as anyBoat or anyPlane
• Limit opening to certain seats
• Lock access behind an ACE permission
• Log to Discord webhooks
