Fires that need a crew

A fire in this job has health. Firefighters attack it together, and the reward is split by the damage each one did. Turning up matters, and so does working.

Where fires come from

• Random scenarios. More can be added in the config.
• Players. Explosions and fires started with weapons or gas tanks. Because of FiveM limitations, this does not include things such as car explosions.

You can create your own fire types in the config.

Equipment

• Portable hose. Used and refilled with the watertank item.
• Fire extinguisher and firetruck extinguishing.
• Rescue tools. Saw into vehicles, drag players out of vehicles and carry players.

The department

• Multiple departments are supported.
• Each has a store, vehicles, duty and a boss menu through esx_society or qb-management.
• XP is supported.
• Third eye and keypress interaction both work.

For developers

• Exports for fire targeting, useful with other hose systems
• Exports for use in other scripts
• Dispatch support through Config.Alerts

Requirements

• ESX (1.1+) or QBCore. The bridge is fully accessible if you want to write your own.
• ox_lib

Optional metadata support

Not required, but it lets you generate items with metadata.

Installation

1. Rename the folder to pickle_firefighterjob.
2. Open the _INSTALL folder.
3. Install the files for the items and jobs.
4. Change the outfits in the config to match your clothing setup.
5. Restart the server.
