Music that everyone hears together

A car meet with no music is quiet, and music that only the driver hears is no better. This radio from Code Studio is completely server synced. The driver chooses a track and every player in range hears it at the same moment. The script is standalone.

In the car

• Any music. Playback runs through xsound.
• Full controls. Pause, play, volume, mute and loop.
• Passengers too. Anyone in the car can use the radio. You can switch that off in the config.
• Recently played. New songs are added to a recently played list.
• A small overlay. It shows while a track is playing.

Outside the car

You decide how far the sound carries beyond the vehicle. You can also keep playback inside the interior only, for servers that do not want music spilling into the street.

The interface

• A modern UI that adapts to every screen resolution
• Dark and light themes
• 3 different modes for opening it

Things you will not have to worry about

• A database. None is needed. Music data is stored locally.
• Resmon. 0.00ms in a quiet state and 0.00ms in an active state.
• Speed. There is no lag at higher speeds.
• Leftover sound. The music stops if the vehicle is deleted.

Control for owners

• Whitelist or blacklist vehicles
• A highly configurable config with a language editor, and more options listed inside it
• An event to toggle the radio UI from other resources: TriggerEvent("cs:carRadio:openUI", true)
