Same engine, new behaviour
Prodigy 2.0 does not replace ox_inventory. It is a rework of ox_inventory v2.43.5 that keeps the base intact and adds a layer on top. The style is inspired by the prdgy inventory.
What the layer adds
- Metadata on everything. Each item carries its own internal information and shows it in the slot. Two stacks of the same item can read and behave differently.
- Rarity. An item's rarity comes from its metadata.
- Backpacks. Players can run with a backpack or without one.
- A special slot. One extra slot that you configure to suit how your server uses gear.
- Crafting. A crafting table with its own UI is included, so no separate script is needed.
Who it suits
Servers that already run ox_inventory, like it and want more depth: loot with rarity, gear with history and a backpack to find.
What is open and what is not
Only the functions added on top are escrowed. The ox_inventory base is fully open, exactly as OX ships it.
