Car theft with a search in the middle

Most car theft jobs are a marker and a drive. This free job from RAINMAD puts a hunt between the two. The car is somewhere near a house, the key is hidden, and the player has a digiscanner to find it.

The four stages

1. Tools. Buy a welding machine and a digiscanner from the mission NPC, then accept the job from the same NPC. You can limit the job to certain in game hours.

2. The search. A search area appears on the map. The player sweeps it with the digiscanner and then scans around the target house. At the right corner, the vehicle key appears. The scan minigame can be swapped for another.

3. The strip. Drive the car to the dismantling location and take it apart piece by piece.

4. The payoff. Go back to the NPC. Sell the parts, or trade them for other items.

What you can edit

Vehicle models, house and key locations, the dismantling spot and nearly everything else. More than 15 locations are set up already. Bridge files and locales are open.

Logs and performance

Discord logs cover buy, sell and trade actions, and job started, finished and cancelled events. Idle resmon is 0.00 to 0.01ms. The script is fully open source.
