Why a server wants this

Some nights there are four officers and one criminal. Other nights it is the reverse. This free script from Electus lets the smaller side bring AI help, so a scene can still happen.

Three kinds of help

Regular bodyguards. Hired at a shop.

Gang members. Bought at the gang shop or recruited straight from the street.

Police reinforcements. An officer types /backup and AI police arrive.

Every type can be restricted by job.

The contract

• A bodyguard is rented for a chosen amount of time. The price depends on the time, the bodyguard and the weapon.
• The bodyguard stays until the time ends or the contract is terminated. Terminating deletes the bodyguard.
• If a bodyguard dies, insurance can be claimed in a shop and a new one spawns.
• A bodyguard can be put on leave and reinstated later.

Not all the same

Each bodyguard is rated on three things: shooting, driving and armor.

You can give a bodyguard your own weapon or buy one with the hire.

Giving orders

• One bodyguard. Interact through a target system or the default G key. Tell them to stay, to follow or to go on leave.
• All of them. Use /bodyguard_stay and /bodyguard_follow.
• In a vehicle. Bodyguards follow the player into vehicles. The vehicle menu lets you switch seats and have a bodyguard drive to a waypoint or simply around.

Configuration

Ped models, weapon models, all prices, price deductions, speed metrics, maximum slots and currency. In theory the number of bodyguards is unlimited, which the creator does not recommend.

The UI has themes that are changed in the settings.

Technical

• Idle: 0.00ms. With bodyguards out on a heavy task: 0.06 to 0.08ms at most.
• Requires ESX or QB-Core, and ox_lib. A target system is recommended.
