Why a tackle and not a taser

A taser ends a chase from a distance with one click. A tackle has to be earned. The chaser needs to get close, pick the moment and commit, and a miss leaves them on the ground while the runner gets away. This free script from Gamzky Scripts adds that to your server.

The move

1. While sprinting, press and hold G.
2. Holding it gives a small sprint boost to close the gap. The boost is configurable.
3. Release G, or hold past the maximum sprint time, and your character leaps forward in the direction of travel.
4. Any player caught by the leap is tackled to the ground.
5. A cooldown runs before you can tackle again.

Skill, not spam

There is no lock on. You line the tackle up yourself, which stops people from using it on everyone in the street.

Configurable

Sprint boost, tackle duration, keybinds, cooldown and more are in the config.

For developers

The script is fully standalone and needs no other resource. The code is unencrypted, so you can add your own animations, notifications or cuff logic.
