Drift for an audience

A drift event needs spectators, and spectators need something to look at. Without synced smoke, each player only sees their own tires working and the car meet looks flat to everyone else. This free script from KuzQuality adds more realistic smoke the moment a car loses traction and syncs every cloud between players. The whole crowd watches the same burnout.

One thing about the showcase video. It jokes that you need an Nvidia RTX card. You do not.

What it does

• Synced smoke. Every client sees the same clouds.
• Colored tire smoke. If a car has colored smoke fitted, the script works with it.
• Any car. Vanilla and modded vehicles are both supported.
• Surface aware. Smoke appears only on the right surfaces, so there are no clouds while offroading. You can turn this check off in the config.
• Customizable. The config lets you tune it to your taste.

What it costs your server

The script runs at 0.01ms and uses no server resources at all. With tens of players around you, resmon can rise slightly, and that is the worst case.

Compatibility

It is fully standalone and needs no other resource. It runs on ESX, QBCore, Qbox and VRP, and on servers with no framework at all.
