An event you can start in a minute

A quiet evening needs something to happen. With Byte-Labs Redzones an admin places a PvP zone on the map. Players head in, fight the peds inside and each other, and leave with loot if they are still alive when the timer ends.

The admin sets four things

  1. Radius. How large the zone is.
  2. Duration. How long it stays live.
  3. Loot. The loot table and how the drops are weighted.
  4. Defenders. The peds that spawn inside and the weapons they carry.

The player sees

  • A marked area on the map
  • A custom UI made for the redzone
  • A reward worth the risk of going in

Why it works for crime servers

Redzones give gangs a reason to meet that is not a scheduled war. The zone is temporary, the loot is real and nobody knows who else is coming.

Open source

The code is open. You can change the mechanic itself and are not limited to a config.

Compatibility

  • Framework: qb-core, esx, nd-core, qbox
  • Target: ox_target, qb-target
  • Inventory: ox_inventory, qb-inventory, ps-inventory, qs-inventory or a custom inventory
