Hunting gives players a reason to drive into the hills with a rifle and a friend. This free script from Pickle Mods covers the whole trip, from finding an animal to selling what it gives.
The hunt
Find. Enter a hunting zone. Use the hunting horn and the nearest animals show on your radar for a set time.
Kill and carry. Animals can be placed on the trunk of your vehicle.
Skin. Take the hide. Quality is decided by chance.
Process. Take the meat. Quality is decided by chance here too.
Sell. Bring hides and meat to NPC buyers.
The animals
Deer, Mountain Lion, Rabbits and Boars are included. You can add your own.
What you set up
- Hunting zones, each with a list of animals and spawn chances you control
- NPC selling locations
Animals are synced across all players, so two hunters in a zone see the same deer.
Interaction
- Without a target system: press E and use a menu
- With one: ox_target, qb-target or q-target, and more can be added
