Civilian work that is not a delivery route

Most legal jobs come down to driving from one marker to the next. Animal control has a hunt in the middle. Players track a stray, lure it, catch it and bring it home. The job by Gamzky Scripts starts with an NPC at the Animal Ark in Sandy Shores.

The job, step by step

1. Start. Talk to the NPC to begin.
2. Rent a vehicle. Pay a deposit and receive a job vehicle from one of several spawn points.
3. Find the animal. Drive to the marked zone. A tracking blip helps.
4. Distract it. Put down bait to hold its attention.
5. Capture it. Secure the animal in a crate and load it into the vehicle.
6. Finish. Bring it back, return the vehicle and collect the reward.

Instructions appear at every stage, so a new player can do the job without a guide.

The animals

• Boars
• Cats
• Coyotes
• Dogs, in various breeds
• Hens

Each type spawns in its own habitat. A coyote turns up in the desert and a stray cat in an urban area. The bait and the crates use realistic props.

Built to resist abuse

• Server side validation. Progress is tracked and checked on the server to protect against cheaters.
• Fail safes. The job is cancelled if the animal dies or disappears, or if the player abandons the vehicle.
• Sync. Everything is fully synchronized with other players.
