The tablet

Mechanics are not tied to markers. The mechanic tablet, set up as a command or an item, handles servicing, the dyno, performance tuning, invoices, orders and business management. A vehicle is connected to the tablet to start work on it.

Tuning and paint

• Tuning. Every option, including the latest DLCs. Players can apply and pay themselves, or place an order for a mechanic. Previews use automatic camera angles or a free camera. Options can be disabled in the config.
• Respray. Search GTA colors, sync primary and secondary, toggle pearlescence, or pick from RGB. Chameleon colors are available, on wheels and interior where compatible.

Stance

Suspension height, camber and tracking are adjusted for each wheel. It is server synced and saved when the vehicle is stored in a garage. Stance is in the tuning menu or available as an item.

Performance work

• Engine swaps with sounds: V12, V8, V6 and I4, configured out of the box. Custom streamed engine sounds are supported.
• Tyres, drivetrain and brakes, and your own options added in the config.
• Manual transmissions. Any automatic can be swapped. Shift too late and the engine is damaged. Electric vehicles are excluded.

Dyno

The dyno is in the tablet. A run takes about 30 seconds and shows horsepower and torque through the RPM range. The final graph can be shared with the customer or people nearby.

Repairs and servicing

• Repairs. At a tuning location, by order, with a repair kit or with duct tape.
• Servicing. Parts wear by mileage. After a configurable distance the vehicle needs a mechanic. This requires jg-vehiclemileage, which is free and included.

Money

• Pricing. Set per tuning category, with multipliers. Prices can follow the vehicle's value.
• Invoices. Created automatically while a mechanic works. They can be edited, saved and resent, and are synced between all employees of the business.

Extras

• LightingControl+. An item that controls RGB xenons and underglow, with effects such as rainbow and flash.
• Car lifts. A custom, usable prop placed anywhere, locked to a mechanic business.
• Items. Almost every function can be tied to an inventory item.
• Webhooks. Up to 7 Discord webhook URLs.

Sync and performance

Effects and animations are synced to nearby players with OneSync Infinity state bags. Resmon is 0.0 to 0.1ms, except during heavy client effects such as stancing, NOS or LightingControl+.
